Thanks to the perceptive eye of Andrew E. Barrett, it seems that the original appearance of Mortier organ 'Big Charley' (see pp.52-53 in the book 'The Mortier Story') has been found: almost certainly it originally looked like the unknown Mortier organ on the photo below (see also p.57 in the book 'The Mortier Story'):

We know that around 1925, the 'Mortier-with-six-side-cases' was modernised by Mortier for an organ renter in the region of Wetteren (B). The photo below – taken in the dance tent of Frans van Sant, after a second rebuild of the organ by Mortier around 1935 – clearly shows the resemblances with the original façade, e.g. the outer side case panels and the carvings at the bottom in front of the percussion:
